1 COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

1.1 We need to collect certain personal details when you use the services available through our website in order to facilitate the provision of these services and to maintain our quality standards. 1.3 Personal Data will be held by Glisser using appropriate safeguards to maintain its privacy and security. Only very limited personal data is transferred between devices via our mobile application. This is limited to names and email addresses transferred to the device of that user, and only the uploaded ‘avatar’ images of each user are shared between all devices when comments are made or questions are asked using the relevant Solution features. Twitter data is shared according to Twitter’s security policies. Address details are only stored on our password-protected website.

1.4 Data is held within a secure data server in the EU and is only accessible from inside this data centre. More information on the physical security at this data centre is available from IBM Softlayer, our third party provider: http://www.softlayer.com/security.

1.5 All files are currently stored on IBM Softlayer CloudFiles within the EU.

1.6 In order to reduce the delay between devices using the solution, and to prevent unnecessary drain on the batteries in User devices, we do not use SSL encryption on Presentation files. Users who wish to use SSL encryption for the transfer of their Presentation files should contact Glisser through the "Contact Us" section of the website to discuss this option.

1.7 Personal information related to Presentation Credit payment is managed by a third party supplier who is PCI compliant. For more information please see: https://www.chargebee.com/security/

1.8 By registering your details on the website or through our mobile application, you consent to us, and the providers of any presentations you attend via the Solution, contacting you via email, telephone or post, for the purposes of:
(a) monitoring the provision of the services through the website, the mobile application and the Solution, and ensuring that you are satisfied with the level of service you are receiving from Glisser; and
(b) providing you with relevant information pertaining to the services on our website or mobile application.

1.9 Provided that you “opt in” to receiving such communications, we and/or the providers of any presentations you have attended via the Solution may send you promotional emails about our or their own or third parties’ product developments, new products or special offers, or other information which we or they think you may find interesting. We and/or the providers of any presentations you have attended via the Solution may also contact you for market research purposes.

1.10 When you provide feedback in relation to the service or via the Solution, you will be given the option of keeping your identity secret from other users.

1.11 We will not share, trade or sell your personal information to any company or parties not directly associated with its proper use within the website or as described above, except when you give us explicit permission and we give you an opportunity to opt out of having your personal information shared.

1.12 We collate information about site traffic, sales, attendee data and other commercial information which we may use for internal purposes and pass on to third parties but this information does not include any information which can identify you personally.

1.13 In certain circumstances we may have a legal obligation to disclose personal information, and we reserve the right to do so.
