Why can’t my device access the Glisser presentation?

If you’re having trouble accessing a Glisser presentation from your device, follow these steps:

  1. Check your connection. Glisser is a browser-based system, and will run on any device with an internet connection. If you’re not connected to the internet you won’t be able to interact with the presentation. If you can’t access a local WiFi network, a 4G or 3G connection will also work.
  2. Check the URL. Our custom URLs are not case sensitive, but are always preceded by glsr.it/, there’s no ‘www.’ beforehand. Make sure your spelling is perfect before continuing - incorrect spelling is one of the most common reasons for being unable to connect!
  3. Select portrait view. Glisser is most compatible with handheld devices in portrait view, rather than landscape.
  4. Incognito mode? As Glisser has an option to save attendee’s IDs, you cannot join presentations in incognito mode/private browsing. Make sure you’re using a regular browsing version before continuing.
  5. Select a session. You can navigate events with multiple presentations by pressing ‘select session’ in the top left of the interface. From there, a drop down schedule will appear and you’ll be able to choose any presentation, just press ‘select session’ again to hide the schedule again.

If you’re still having problems connecting, please get in touch at [email protected]
